General Manoj Pande, PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff (Indian Army) visits the Army Command and Staff College, Shivapuri

General Manoj Pande, Chief of the Army Staff, Indian Army, visited the Army Command & Staff College, Shivapuri on 6th September 2022. On arrival the General was welcomed by the Commandant Maj Gen Santosh Kumar Dhakal. Subsequently, the faculty members of the college were introduced to the General followed by a sapling plantation. An interactive session was organized where the General addressed the faculty members and the Student Officers of S.No.29 Command and Staff Course. During the session General Pande discussed issues regarding 'India's Security Perspectives' on contemporary security environment and modern warfare. He reminded the audience about the cordial and special relations between India and Nepal. Furthermore, highlighting the deep bond between the two armies, he emphasized on strengthening and enhancing the engagements for mutual benefit building competencies, capacities and capabilities. The Commandant thanked General Manoj Pande for his informative and deliberate session. The session was followed by 'High Tea' in the Sagarmatha Hall where pleasantries and mementos were exchanged.
