The graduation ceremony of 24th Command & Staff course was held at Army Command and Staff College, Shivapuri on 21st February 2018.
The chief guest, COAS Gen Chhetri congratulated the student officers for successful completion of the course. He highlighted the importance and aim of the command and staff course during his address. The Commandant of the College Maj Gen Pralhad Thapa on his welcome speech welcomed the guests and thanked all involved in the successful completion of course.
The commandant Maj Gen Pralhad Thapa gave away the "Best Commandant's Paper" award to Major Mohhamad Harun or Rashid Khan from Bangladesh Armed Forces and Major Madhav Thapa from Nepali Army. Similarly, the Vice Chancellor of Tribhuvan University Prof Dr. Tirtha Raj Kahniya and COAS Gen Chhetri awarded Maj Suman Thapa with the "Best Student in Masters of Strategic Studies Award" and "Overall Best Student Award" of 24th Command & Staff Course respectively. A total of 58 national and international student officers were awarded with "psc" and 56 officers with "MSS" degrees during the ceremony.
Vice chancellor of Tribhuvan University, TU officials, Ambassadors, Generals and Officers of Nepali Army, residential Defense Attachés, Chiefs and representatives of sister security organizations, community sponsors of international student officers, faculty members, student officers and families were also present.
