The graduation ceremony of Command & Staff Course-29 was held at Army Command and Staff College, Shivapuri amid a special function on 24th February 2023. The Chief of the Army Staff General Prabhu Ram Sharma attended the program as the Chief Guest.

During the ceremony, Major General Santosh Kumar Dhakal delivered a welcome speech. Chief of the Army Staff General Prabhu Ram Sharma and Rector of the Tribhuwan University Prof Dr Shiva Lal Bhusal awarded the graduation certificates and certificates of Master's Degree in Strategic Studies (MSS) respectively to the graduating student officers. The Chief of the Army Staff General Prabhu Ram Sharma while addressing the audience, congratulated the student officers for successfully completing the course and thanked the commandant, faculty members of the college, guest speakers and stakeholders associated with the course for successfully conducting the course. 

The event was marked by distribution of awards to the student officers who were adjudged best in various field. Among them, Chief of the Army Staff General Prabhu Ram Sharma awarded Maj Ujjwal Gotame with the "Overall Best Student Award" and Maj Muhammad Mubeen Cheema from Pakistan Army with the "Best International Student Officer Award". Likewise, the Rector of Tribhuvan University Prof Dr Shiva Lal Bhusal awarded Maj Rabin Gurung with the "Best Student Award in Masters in Strategic Studies" and the Commandant Maj Gen Santosh Kumar Dhakal awarded Maj Bikram Khadka with the "Best Commandant's Paper award". 

During the ceremony the President of the Nepali Army Wives Association, Vice Chief of the Army Staff, Assistant Chief of the Army Staff, Inspector Generals of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force Nepal, Chief Investigation Director of the NID, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, General Officers of the Nepali Army, Former Commandants, Community Sponsors of International Student Officers, Residential Defense Attachés, Faculty Members, spouses of student officers were also present.
