Chief of the Army Staff Gen Prabhu Ram Sharma inaugurated the S.No. 8 Advanced Course on National Security amid a special Ceremony organized at Army Command and Staff College, Shivapuri on 13th March 2023 (29 Falgun 2079).

The two-week long course is being conducted with participation of 27 senior officers from various Ministries, Government Organizations, Security Agencies, Institutions, Red Cross Society and various publication houses.

Chief Guest, Chief of the Army Staff Gen Prabhu Ram Sharma officially inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the panas. Guest of honor, Defence Secretary Kiran Raj Sharma welcomed all the participants of the course, while delivering a welcome speech. Chief Guest, Gen Prabhu Ram Sharma congratulated all the participants on being selected for the course while delivering an inaugural speech.

During the ceremony the Secretary of Agriculture and Livestock Development, VCOS, ACOS, IGP of the Nepal Police, IG of the Armed Police Force, Nepal, General officers from the Nepali Army, Senior officials from various ministries, Director of the NID, Media personnel and Faculty members of the college were also present.
